Straight answers about money

What these fees do and don’t cover

Your Starter Guide tells families to ask every provider these questions. It would be strange not to answer them here.

What these fees are not

Consulting fees are separate from, and in addition to, agency fees, attorney fees, home study costs, travel, and court costs. I will never tell you a total adoption cost is lower than it is.

Payment plans

The Navigation package can be paid as $250 a month for twelve months. That is the same $3,000 total, simply spread out. No interest, no fees, and no premium for paying over time.

Refunds

Consulting fees are not refundable once we have begun working together. That is precisely why the introductory call is free, and why I would rather talk a family out of hiring me than take money from someone I am not the right fit for.

Questions families ask

Before you book

No, and the difference matters. A licensed agency is legally authorized to place children and is regulated by your state. A consultant educates, organizes, and supports you through the process. I don’t place children, provide legal advice, or conduct home studies, and I can’t guarantee a placement or a timeline. What I can do is make sure you understand every step, ask the right questions, and never feel alone in it.

Yes. Every adoption requires licensed professionals: an agency, an attorney, a home study provider, and the courts. My role is to help you choose them well and work with them confidently.

Because that’s roughly how long the active work takes for most families: preparation, approvals, and the beginning of the wait. If your journey runs longer, Continued Support at $250 a month keeps me beside you without starting over.

No one can honestly do that, and you should be cautious of anyone who tries. Timelines depend on your pathway, your state, your openness, and circumstances entirely outside anyone’s control.

Then let’s talk about it. My fees sit at the low end of what adoption consultants charge, deliberately, because I remember cost being the reason I did not hire one myself. Adoption is expensive enough already. The Navigation package can be paid at $250 a month across twelve months, same total, no interest and no fees. And if after an honest conversation I am not the right fit for your budget or your situation, I will say so and point you toward what is. The introductory call costs nothing, and the Starter Guide is free and genuinely useful on its own.

Yes. Because I’m guiding rather than placing, I work with hopeful families across the United States. Your licensed professionals will be the ones who need to be authorized in your state.

That is a completely legitimate outcome, and I would rather help you reach it clearly than watch you spend years and savings on a path that was never right for your family.

Not sure which one fits?

That’s exactly what the free call is for. We’ll figure it out together, and if the answer is “none of these yet,” I’ll tell you that too.
